The first step in the import process is acquiring the pigeon. There are numerous auction sites in Europe but we always recommend www.GPS-Auctions.com since we own this service.

When you buy from www.GPS-Auctions.com, step one is already complete. We can take it from there and guide you the rest of the way.

After you have acquired the pigeons, your next step is to make sure the pigeon is prepared for international travel. Because of strict rules for importing pigeons into the United States and Canada, all pigeons must be vaccinated for Paramyxovirus (PMV). You will need proof of this vaccination from a veterinarian. PMV is a highly contagious virus that can wreak havoc on any loft of pigeons.

Drop off the pigeons at any of our holding lofts or have a courier pick them up (at additional cost). Once there, the pigeons will wait a short while until we have enough birds for a complete shipment, generally a few days.

From there, they make their way to Canada where they are quarantined for another period of time (we will discuss this with you) and finally they are sent to their respective new owner, YOU.
